Grant Thornton appoints two ex-PwC employees

Grant Thornton New Zealand has appointed Mike Lowe as corporate finance manager and Matt Parkinson as associate, business advisory.
Lowe takes the corporate finance manager position after over six years experience valuing businesses and shares, resolving shareholder disputes, quantifying losses and undertaking various forensic and investigative assignments.
Lowe was previously with PricewaterhouseCoopers' Corporate Finance team and has worked across many industry sectors for listed firms as well as smaller privately owned businesses.
Parkinson as associate, business advisory has spent the previous 13 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers working with business owners.
As a business adviser Parkinson's experience has been predominantly working with Kiwi entrepreneurs and privately owned businesses as well as not-for-profits, high net-worth individuals, Maori entities and NZ subsidiaries of Australian owned businesses.
Parkinson's advice has been spread across a wide range of industries and business size.
