MYOB launches a GST and tax changes website

MYOB has put together special resources on a newly launched GST and tax changes website to help businesses plan for the 1^st October GST and tax changes.

The website myob.co.nz/gstchange has comprehensive information on the tax changes, cash flow management, pricing strategies and contract and supplier agreements.

As well as expert advice from a number of organisations, there's a checklist businesses and their accountants can download to help with the planning process and a list of MYOB professional accountants and approved partners, who can help businesses further.

The site provides a range of videos, giving a simple summary of key GST planning, with a special feature on pricing strategy from business.govt.nz.

For retail businesses in particular, the site also includes a free GST pricing calculator, which allows them to plan their pricing strategy, with information on price points and the cost of absorbing GST increases.
