NZICA announces finalists for 2010 Leadership Awards

The New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants (NZICA) has announced six exceptional finalists for the annual 2010 Hays Chartered Accountant of the Year Award.

A new collaboration between the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants (NZICA) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA) will create a powerful alliance between the two organisations.

The Minister of Revenue and his Department deserve full credit for studying SME compliance costs, although concerns remain that costs are disproportionately high, according to New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants (NZICA) tax director Craig Macalister.

The New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants has thrown the weight of its 32,000 members behind proposals for a wave of reforms to New Zealand's financial reporting system.
